Love is in the Air!

It all started with some cut hearts...
Valentines Day is one of my favorite holidays.  I love the spirit of it, as it reminds you to let friends and family know how much you love them.  I wanted to spread the love with an art instillation that I call "Love is in the Air."  The day before Valentines Day the strings of hearts went up at the front of my school, thanks to some lovely elves! As students and teachers entered school on Valentines Day there was a wall of hearts waiting to welcome them!

Don't MIS another opportunity to bring a smile to someone's face!

Enjoy,

SWEET Hearts!

Spread the love this Valentines Day with some chocolate treats!  Bake brownies and cut them out with heart-shaped cookie cutters for some festive goodies!  I recommend cutting them when they are still hot to avoid breaking/cracking.  Share them with your favorite Valentines and enjoy all the crumbs yourself!

Have a LOVEly Valentines Day!

Ty, the young creative blogger behind Know and Tell Crafts recently illustrated a portrait of me. He is an incredibly talented digital artist.  I absolutely love my portrait.  He uses Sketchbook Pro on the Ipad to create his cool portraits. Ty has a great step by step tutorial on how to recreate your own DIY digital portrait!  Be sure to visit his portrait gallery and doodles page to see more of his work!
